I'd like to get a 1090T, but my other mobo (vanilla M3A) won't take my 945 (or any AM3), and I like to double upgrade at once. |

could very well be, the only other 2 full systems in the apt right now are my wifes x2 5200 and the laptop which is a turion x2 , both of which cry in pi... lol my old c2d e8400 @ 3.8 did pi in 25s. built a PII 965 black for a friend and i didn't run pi but in both vantage and 06 the cpu score was almost half of my i7, which sucked as i was wanting to switch back to amds... |

Oh I'm sure there is some sort of cost/watt*evil that would put AMD back in the lead. And Intel just made 2.8 billion profit last quarter. |

im waiting for the bulldozer, should lit a fire under intel. at least till sandy bridge comes out lol could allways jump a 1090 to 4 or 5ghz somehow, might have to put the H2O in the deep freeze lol
