Post subject:  Slow day...
I think this is the first time in a long while that I've come here not to see any new messages after a full day.

So I'll get the ball rolling with some personal news - I bought a house last week. :) Actually it's a townhouse but still. It's just off Shore Road in Eastern Passage and is still being built at the moment. The flooring (hardwood and ceremic tiles) should be down by now and I'm hoping most of the counters will be in by the time I go to check it out again this weekend. Hopefully it will look good with the stainless steel appliances I picked out and I'm really hoping the Samsung front loading washer and dryer I got a great deal on will fit in the laundry room... and yes I realize I've become one of those "lame people" who care about their house and watch HGTV. :(

:P You'll be shocked to know I have a girlfriend and it's our 1.5 year anniversary as of today... I know this because I needed an excuse to go out for a good meal tonight. :)

Thanks, you're invited over if you're in the area and I should have photos up on Facebeast this weekend if they turn out ok... it might be a little dark for it in there without power hooked up yet and the windows may still be covered over from the painting and stuff but we'll see.
