We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). Disclosure to Law Enforcement
We may disclose any subscriber information to law enforcement agencies without further consent or notification to the subscriber upon lawful request from such agencies. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies.
Sales Policy: Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Most products can be returned within 5 business days for the invoiced price or current listed price, which ever is lower. Items must be in original packaging and in re-sellable condition. No refunds on special order items, non-resealable blister packs, user activated software and products registered with the manufacturer.
Service Policy: The customer is responsible to backup their data before work is started at our service shop. We can not be held liable for lost customer data. Please remember to backup often.
Warranty Policy: Some items are only warrantied through the manufacturer after 14 days, MysteryByte warranties most products for 1 year from sticker date. Service Policy: The customer is responsible to backup their data before work is started on most parts for warranty, the warranty ends 1 year from sticker date. All warranties are honoured in-store and shipping expenses to MysteryByte for warranty purposes are the responsibility of the customer. Warranty is voided on physically damaged products such as; bent cpu or mainboard pins, burnt ram goldfingers and mainboard trace scratches. If a customer has problems getting additional warranty coverage direct from the manufacturer, please contact us and we will do our best to service you.
Hot Swap: A defective component is swapped for a new or equivilant item that is currently in stock. Applies to most motherboards, major RAM brands, hard drives, optical drives. The device must be tested by MysteryByte staff and be in stock before any exchange is made.
Temp Part: An item that is loaned to the customer while their defective part has been sent back to manufacturer for repair. When the repaired product returns, the items are exchanged.
Pixel Policy: Within 14 days, there must be more than 2 dead pixels (otherwise stuck pixels may be repaired through software) in the centre quadrant of the monitor for warranty processing. After 14 days each individual manufacturer pixel policy will apply for warranty processing.
Part exchange: The part must be fully tested by MysteryByte staff before giving a refund or replacement.
RMA: Return Merchandise Authorization is when a defective item has been returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. A RMA may take up to 4 weeks, temporary parts may be available.
OEM: This usually refers to an item that is bundled with minimal or no packaging and normally carries a 1 year waranty from the sticker date, found on the product.
Warranty Sticker: Square white sticker identifies product
date for warranty purposes.
If the customer registered their product, hot swapping replacements or temprary cards are no longer available.
In most cases the manufacturer will only ship to the customers address.

Merchandise can be returned for a full refund or current sales price whichever is lower (within 5 business days) and must be accompanied with the original invoice. No refunds on Special order items & Software.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
STEP 1: If you have received a defective item, please complete the RMA REQUEST FORM below. If you are unsure whether the part is defective, please contact technical support as we may be able to easily fix the problem over the phone or through email saving you time and money.
STEP 2: Once your RMA REQUEST FORM has been submitted, the RMA Department will issue an RMA number. Display this number clearly on the outside of the package when sending the defective item back to us.

STEP 4: The defective unit will be tested by our technicians before being sent off for warranty. If the unit is found to be defective, we will send it away for replacement. If the unit is Not defective, it will be sent back at the customer’s expense. As soon as the replacement unit arrives, we will ship it back to you at our expense.
Please Note: All items that have been tampered with or physically damaged will not be under warranty, and will be sent back at customer’s expense.
We can RMA products for you that still carry a manufacturer's warranty even if you did not originally purchase the product from us for a service charge.
