Is the 5870 that MB sells the game edition? with the reference cooler or with the new cooler? |

It's the same one since day 1, old style cooler from Sapphire. I had to warranty one last month cuz of the cooler went to 11 loudness. There is nothing wrong with it, well unless you're me and there is something wrong with it. (for the record it's the same September BIOS which doesn't work well with DP-DVI adapters...) |

Im only running single monitor with dvi cable so that wont be an issue kinda hoping they will get some of the new coolers, i have one on my 4890 and it runs great. |

well aside from the 4870's I had - this new 5850 has a great cooler that does the job well and quietly. I like the fact that it fires all the warm air (as its not really heat) out of the case - it runs cooler than any card I had to date and OC'd at that. |

Best to call or send an email, you'll get a much faster response than on the forums. |
