It's good, but it's the size of Rhode Island.

I went the way of the V8. That was heavy enough. The weight of the V10 is considerable and frankly am not that comfortable slapping one on.

The V8 is the best air cooler I have used hands down. So if you decide to, let us know how it cools, performs and how long it takes for it to rip your motherboard in two.

Weight plus ram slot blockage, sure it cools the ram but trying to add or change ram after the v-10 is installed is a pain.

Based on costs of the V10 compared to, well, everything else...It's like 150$+ for air cooling (maybe more from MB)? Is having your CPU idle at 30C instead of 35C worth warping your mobo? Save yourself some sanity and get something like an H50, and feel better at the end of the day knowing that you bought something innovative and interesting and not a big dumb bomb.

What a big dumb bomb may look like...

It is pretty damn big for sure eh ha! I wouldn't go H5O i'd rather do a proper H2) set up instead if I were to go that way.

On a flat surface/work desk it's ideal.

You can bypass the tempature sensor on the TEC to run full out all the time and a huge cooling change will take place :D

But yes. DO NOT mount this if it's going to put any stress on the board. IE: In a case.

Whatever you do, don't buy it and use it for what it was intended for! Kind of like voting for the NDP.
