I was sitting around last night trying to remember the last time I bought a new computer and realized it had been so long since I'd been here. So long, in fact, that I had to re-register. Hahaha. So what's new? Get me all caught up on what you're up to now. Dave |

Hey man how's it been? Last I heard you were in Ontario and buying a Mini Cooper.  How'd that work out?
I'm still working in IT, although I changed jobs recently and bought a place in Eastern Passage. I also haven't been upgrading my system nearly as much as I used to... like I'd say 25% at least less of what I used to. |

Yep- still have the Nash Strat. Got a Nash Jazzmaster go go with it as well. Plus a lot of other guitars. It's kind of shameful, actually, considering I don't even really play anymore. Haha. The MINI is treating us well so we still have that car. Sold the condo before the market tanked and bought a house in downtown TO. Switched careers from 3D animation to photography, which is kind of cool! It probably also explains my lack of a new computer in the last...oh.....5 years. Seriously, I think it's been that long. |

It's surprising how little change this forum has had over the last 5+ years in terms of it's user base isn't it? I don't know if that's a good thing, because we all know each other fairly well and like talking computers, or if it's bad, because we're not very welcoming of newbs... oh well.

Welcome back Nine!! yeah we have a decent group of regulars, i can remember being on here when i started learning, havnt seen awhole lot new peope, but maybe we should tell a few more to come on, i dont mind helping learn, shit i still learn alot everyday |

I don't post much anymore, but I still check in regularly. Lurking, etc. Not really as busy here as it used to be, way back in the day when I thought it was cool to have some absurd post count. But that's okay. Good to see pretty much everyone's still around

Yeah, I was amazed at how many people are still here. Seems like things have slowed down quite a bit, but I guess that makes sense if there's no no blood coming in. So what's up with that? There's only 20 computer enthusiasts in Halifax? That can't be right! Haha. |
