Oh haha, I simply didn't get the toilet-paper conserving part. Went over my head at the time |

Be cool if they offered a "Put your own design on the front of card" program.

I have run into an issue lately where the card will not reduce it's core and memory clock speed when idle. It gets stuck at 400MHz/800MHz as opposed to it's fully reduced idle speeds. This usually happens after video playback, and cannot be fixed unless you restart your computer. Once the clocks are... |

It doesn't fill niche. It's too big to be easily portable like an iPod touch or iPhone, and it lacks the hardware to be a laptop replacement. Jailbreaking will save you from software-side problems like multitasking, but it can't change the product. Maybe if Apple had more of these. http://www.altuse... |

Got one of these yesterday. At stock, it's pretty nice and quiet, idle temps were just over 40C, but under load, temps were almost reaching 80C. I removed the heatsink to have a look (actually, that's a lie. I took off the heatsink to see if the Accelero Twin Turbo would fit. It doesn't :( Stupid DV... |

Have you tried reseating the heatsink? Sounds like it could be an overheating issue. Mine has done this a few times and eventually sorted itself out after multiple boot attempts |

Have you tried defragging the drive before attempting this? This "free space" may be scattered throughout the drive and could be the reason why the applications are attempting to copy what appears to be the entire disk. |

A little late to the party but chipping in my two cents worth anyway; If you go for the replacement PCB method, which I have done myself with success and have helped a friend perform with success, make sure it's as close to the same manufacturing date as possible! PCB's change revisions often; Even ... |

My Acer P191w came with both VGA and DVI cables. It's really nice not to have to go fishing for them, spending even more money. |

15 year old kids shouldn't be out that late anyways! I had thought about this as well. I mean, I know kids at that age "shouldn't" be out at such hours, but to take away their freedom to do so, I have to disagree with. There are more "good" kids then there are "bad". A... |

This makes no sense at all. In abstract, it feels like another step closer to a "Big Brother" environment, and it's going to get shot down hard. "We believe that this is a tool that's not only needed but necessary. When you see the crimes that we have seen in the last few weeks, I'm s... |

Straight dihydrogen monoxide. Harmful if you breathe it in, but it's excellent for cooling, not to mention readily available. |
