Just popped a cheap 120gb kingston ssd in my machine today. Makes a big difference, regardless of the r/w speed.

And let me tell you, it's as good as it gets.

For those who miss the mouse/keyboard controls but still want to get some use from their consoles.

Love it.

Loving it so far! Have quite a few friends playing but since Steam/Gearbox messed up with their release day patch, hardly anyone can connect to each other for co-op. Sucks. But I'm sure a patch is incoming.

I have a server, it's US 1485.

Mostly good people in there, most of us kill on sight if you're armed or seem threatening.

We have stockpiles of gear, literally hundreds of weapons and thousands of items, which we give away for free to those in need or who ask.

Well, to be honest Grizz, both of those titles are better left for PC. I recommend anyone with a PC to get Skyrim for it instead of console. The difference is absolutely stunning, plus the addition of user mods and tweaks make the game play/look even better. Put it this way, I started playing Skyrim...

Im guessing if you could run Oblivion/Fallout at max settings comfortably then Skyrim will run fine as well, since it's the same engine with upgraded shaders and textures.

Are you sure they are artifacts? If you have dual monitors with some AMD configurations the monitors will show black lines and flickers if overdrive is enabled.

But 85 is definitely a little too high for a 4850.

Agreed, they definitely struck out this time around. Last gen of AMD chips were at least competitive performance wise and had great price points.

Like I said it's sad that even the lowest end Sandy Bridge chip edges out my once "enthusiast" level AMD chip. Disappointing but eye opening.

Just grabbed a new PC for the family. Thought about building one but in the end something good for the family is better to be bought in a store. Where this isn't a custom build I didn't even feel like posting here but we're in need of some forum activity. Nothing spectacular, sad to see the cpu beat...
